By creating an account or using NextRead, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use NextRead. If you are between 13 and 17, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the service.

By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the age requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

When using NextRead, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the service beyond normal use
• Reverse-engineer the recommendation algorithms or AI systems
• Upload malicious content, spam, or harmful material
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through public features
• Circumvent rate limits or security measures

You retain ownership of the content you create on NextRead, including reading notes, quotes, ratings, and profile information. By submitting content, you grant NextRead a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service.

For public features (public profiles, shared quotes), your chosen content will be visible to other users. You can disable public visibility at any time in your settings.

NextRead uses artificial intelligence to generate book recommendations, match scores, and chat responses. This content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

• Match percentages and scores are estimates, not guarantees
• Book descriptions and metadata may contain inaccuracies
• AI chat responses may occasionally produce incorrect information

We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all AI-generated content is correct or complete.

The NextRead name, logo, design, and underlying technology are owned by NextRead. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without permission.

Book covers, titles, and descriptions displayed in the app belong to their respective publishers and authors and are used for identification purposes.

NextRead is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

We reserve the right to impose usage limits (such as recommendation frequency or chat message limits) to ensure fair access for all users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextRead and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited behavior.

Upon termination, your account data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of NextRead after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
